Luke 11:1 – Who Are You Teaching to Pray? – An interesting phrase appears after the disciples’ request, “Lord, teach us to pray.” The disciples’ request is based upon a desire to be taught “as John also taught his disciples.” Much teaching is done in regards to Bible doctrine, ushering, training Sunday School teachers, and a host of other topics. We teach our children to say “please,” “thank you,” to clean up their toys, and obey. John the Baptist taught his disciples to pray. Christ taught His disciples to pray. Who are you teaching to pray?

The “Universal Church” teaching is becoming a universal problem. Since arriving in Moldova, I have seen that this problem is literally around the world. Yes, I am discussing a very controversial topic, but the problems arising from this teaching require attention and are worth our contemplation. What I believe about the doctrine of the church has changed much over the past couple years. Without delving into a study on the biblical doctrine of the church, allow me propose the problem and a solution.
