Solavei – Unlimited minutes, texts, and data for $49/mo.

If you are going to be on deputation or furlough, you may want to consider this new cell phone service with Solavei. I just heard of it today and thought I’d pass on the info. There is also the option of making money by having overs sign up through you. Since I am overseas, I am not using their network, thus not getting any income from this post. If you are paying more than $49 for your cell phone bill, this may be a good option for you. Check out the coverage area (which is important for missionaries traveling all over the country).

Getting internet while traveling on deputation and furlough is becoming more accessible due to free wi-fi zones and internet on mobile phones, but there may be times when you you can’t find that free wi-fi connection and need an internet connection. If you are looking for having your internet with you wherever you go, consider going broadband. With a simple device that plugs into your computer, along with a monthly fee, you can take your internet with you on the road.
